Essential Values

      We are a value-driven church, meaning that we seek to make ministry decisions, not based on the most vocal members or the latest fads, but based on a set of biblical commitments and ideals.  These are the values that we are passionate about and that define our life and ministry as a congregation. 

Authority and Relevance of Bible: We teach the Bible with faithfulness and skill, and apply it with obedience, as ultimately speaking God's truth to all of life.

Cultural Discernment: Our evangelism, worship and ministry are wisely adapted to the realities of both secular and Utah cultures.

Genuine Community: Our people are connected with each other as a loving family, sharing the joys and sorrows of life in meaningful ways, while drawing others in to enjoy the same.

Grace: We accept people unconditionally, without guilt, creating the freedom to be authentic and vulnerable and to share varying perspectives on non-essentials.

Impact in Community and World: We practice spontaneous and strategic evangelism and service in our sphere of life, starting locally and reaching out globally.

Intentional Disciplemaking: We are purposeful about reaching people and building them into mature followers of Jesus, with a clearly defined process and result in mind.

Ministry of All Believers: We value each person's gifts and contribution, whether formal or informal, along with grass-roots initiative to birth new ministries based on giftedness.

Multiplication: Believers create more believers, leaders create more leaders, ministries produce more ministries, and churches plant more churches.

Passionate Spiritual Life: We wholeheartedly seek God, consciously depend on God through prayer, seek to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and worship in a life-changing way.
